The life story of Anthony Joseph Amaradio began when he was a child and was struck by the poverty that he saw some people living in. He never forgot the empathy he felt for people having to live in a dangerous or unhealthy environment simply because they couldn’t afford it, and he wanted to help fix that. He ultimately founded a company that allowed him to aid people like him in philanthropic endeavors, while also volunteering and participating in philanthropy himself.
Anthony earned an MBA from the University of Detroit, but never lost sight of his vision. Even when a large Fortune 500 company contacted him about a job, he turned them down, knowing that he had a more important calling in life. Throughout his entire life he has participated in volunteer efforts that have worked to make life better for as many people as possible. He is a man of faith, and has helped with a number of Christian organizations in their goals.
Anthony has always seen money management as the best way to make life better. If philanthropists were able to invest their money ideally, they would be able to get more bang for their buck. Soon after graduating from college he founded Select Portfolio Management, where he has been Chief Strategic Officer ever since. He hired a group of professionals that have helped him develop strategies that allow philanthropic donors and groups optimize their financial, taxation, and asset protection policies.
Anthony Joseph Amaradio also has hosted the radio program Market Talk for the past twenty years. Market Talk is broadcast in the southern California area, and has proven itself to be a reputable source of financial advice over the years.
He also enjoys taking part in speaking events, where he can speak to philanthropists in person to give them more personal advice on how to manage their estates. He knows that these people want to help make the world a better place, and is passionate about making sure they know exactly how to maximize the effect they leave. He uses the research he has absorbed during his life to give them the advice they need.
When Anthony is not traveling he is at his home in southern California with his wife. They have three daughters and three children. They are members of the Crossline Community Church, and have co-authored a book titled “Faithful with Much”, which explores their philosophy of how an abundant Christian should live their life.
